Because I haven’t been that “alive” in WordPress for the past month or so, I was left behind.
This is kind of a bittersweet thing because in the past few days (or weeks), WP has upgraded and remodeled to a very minimalist yet cool vibe. It still retained it’s signature color (a super cute shade of blue) and the cutesy font. And everything looks the same.
But then you click the “New Post” button and tada! You were transported into a new page (instead of the late drop down window). Then you were thinking to yourself, where is the “Text”, “Photo”, etc option? I was confused at first because it was a “Wow, new thing!” experience for me. But eventually you have to cope.
Though I was sad because I can’t post my shots directly like the last time.
The upside was it has this cool loading thing. You know, when you click the “New Post” and then this thing comes up while you’re waiting. It is so cute!
All in all, it was a great update. Needs a getting used to but fair enough. I think we got accustomed to the simply stuff and focused more on the contents of our own blogs and did not care about the logistics. So bloggers, consider this a reminder to know the bits and pieces about the site you are blogging.
Happy blogging everyone! 🙂
